January 25 – 10:30 am – 12 pm – Vickie Smejkal – If Cemeteries Could Talk

Do you enjoy visiting cemeteries as part of your genealogy research? Learn about records that might be found on site at a cemetery and what they might contain. If records are not available at the cemetery, discover where else to look. Bring your questions about cemetery research.

February 22 – 10:30 am – 12 pm – Jeff Adams – Military Records Hiding In Plain Sight

You can find a plethora of military records on sites such as Fold3, Ancestry, and others. But these sites cost money. You can also find a wealth of information on veterans in your family on sites such as FamilySearch.com and the National Archives. Jeff will show you where else you can find these records for free! Bring your questions about military research.

March 22 – 10:30 am – 12 pm – Karol Shupe – Priceless Information Hiding in Plain Sight on Find A Grave

Go beyond the basic search options for graves and memorials using additional search features you may not be aware of. Understand the importance of the Memorial ID and discover more with valuable search tips. Bring your questions about using Find A Grave.

April 26 – 10:30 am – 12 pm – Barb Walker – Exciting Additions to Family Tree Maker That Make Searches More Powerful

Family Tree Maker has created new options for searching for your ancestors. (Will add more if/when the new version comes out.). Bring your questions about using Family Tree Maker.
